6x6 photographic negative processed with ocean water collected from site.
When you stand on the Tathra wharf you feel a bit like you are floating above the ocean. The waves, visible between the slats of the hardwood deck, crash onto the rocks below. Fishermen/women cast their lines from the sides and a large goanna appears each morning to try his chances of stealing one of the fish lined up underneath the sink. On a winter’s morning the sun glints like diamonds out towards the horizon where an albino whale called Migaloo cruises the ocean floor.
