6x6 photographic negative left in a beehive for 16 days.

The 6x6 photographic negative was created over the summer of 2021/22 while Ngungara/Lake George filled with water. The negative was processed, rinsed thoroughly and then placed in a beehive located in Collector, NSW to the north-west of the lake. The resulting honeycomb pattern was built over the photograph negative over a 16 day period - the bees making their mark on the image.
