This image was created following a hailstorm that passed over Depot Beach. It feels as if some of the storm’s energy found its way into the work. Audiences have encountered a quite visceral reaction to this work - generally it seems to communicate w a type of crackling sound ~ perhaps the sound of rain freezing into hail?
